At the World Intelligence Expo 2024, which opened in Tianjin on June 20, Beijing brought a strong presence with 34 cutting-edge products from 17 companies, highlighting the capital's commitment to becoming a global leader in the digital economy.
Among these companies, 76% being high-tech enterprises or firms using advanced technologies to develop novel and unique products. Their exhibits span computing infrastructure, telecommunications, Internet of Things and cybersecurity, showcasing Beijing's push to become a global benchmark for the digital economy.
The expo, which is hosting a total of 550 companies and institutions, features 10 major thematic zones across an exhibition area totaling 100,000 square meters.
In a boost to business activity, 103 key projects have been successfully contracted so far during the event, with total investment reaching approximately 109 billion yuan ($15 billion).
