Beijing Library unveils three themed divisions

The Beijing Library, located in the city's Tongzhou sub-center, unveiled three new themed divisions on Thursday, significantly expanding its cultural offerings. The new divisions include the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) and Local Documents Division, the Rare Book Division, and the Art Division.

Housed within the library's main complex, these unique divisions provide visitors with an immersive and interactive experience, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Beijing and beyond.

The ICH and Local Documents Division explores China's intangible cultural heritage, encompassing a wide range of traditions, practices, and expressions. Utilizing innovative visualization technologies and captivating exhibitions, the division brings these intangible treasures to life for visitors.

Meanwhile, the Rare Book Division is home to an extensive collection of ancient books and rare artworks, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the wisdom of the past and marvel at the artistry of generations gone by.

The Art Division allows visitors to delve into a vast collection of books, artworks, and interactive experiences spanning various artistic disciplines.
