A group of warm-hearted people in Taicang, Jiangsu Province lifted a car to save a 3-year-old boy who was trapped underneath.

The incident happened when the car ran over a boy who was playing alone at the side of the road, trapping him under the vehicle.

More than 10 passersby came to his aid, trying to lift the vehicle off the boy. He was soon freed and rushed to hospital.

Luckily, he was not seriously injured in the incident.

The car driver said he failed to see the boy who was squatting on the ground at the time as he made a righthand turn. He added that two big trash bins on the scene blocked his sight.

During an interview after the incident, one of the boy's parents thanked all the unknown heroes for their help saving his life.
